Kiko Milano Cosmeticsaren’t a big secret on the beauty blogger scenebut I hadn’t tried their products until I visited and shopped in one of their stores in Portugal last year. I was impressed by their selection, their packaging, and their very affordable pricing … so I bought myself a few products … to try out their quality and I’m going to share them with you today.

But before I go on let me just tell you that although an Italian brand with no store in Ireland (yet) … they have stores in the UK, all over Europe and North America … you can order Kiko Milano products online from Ireland with postage at €5.90 if you spend less than €49 and free postage if you spend over €49 …
I did notice a variation on the prices online for Ireland compared to what I paid in-store in Portugal and on the Portuguese website but that seems to be quite a common problem when ordering from sites online if you live in Ireland. That said, even with the price differences, the products are still great value and delivery ishassle free.

Kiko Milano Cosmetics – Product Review
Two of the four products I bought were Limited Editions so unfortunately unless they re-release them, you won’t be able to purchase them on their website. I’m showing them to you today to show you the type of products they have available, to review their quality for you, to give you the heads up to keep an eye out for their Limited Editions … I’m loving their Rebel Romantic Limited Edition that’s available now … and to compare them with what they do have available to buy online now.
Queen of Hearts Eyeshadow Palette – Limited Edition
This limited edition, Queen of Hearts Eye Shadow Palette was available in three palettes; Essential Brown, Luxury Stone Green and Elegant Ebony. I chose the Essential Brown palette and paid €14.90, sweet. The packaging is gorgeous, you have to agree. Inside the palette are 4 x 2g shades of eyeshadowthat can bring you from night to-day. For day time use, you can wear the shadow dry, creating a ‘radiant, blendable effect’. For night-time use, you can moisten the shadow to create a more intense colour and look.
The palette has a large mirror, always handy. The applicator is really sturdy with a slim tip at one end that can be used to highlight the brow bone using the neutral A colour or create a smokey liner effect using the D colour.
I love this neutral palette, the eyeshadow blends and wears well, and as it’s neutral I get lots ofwear out of it. I’m in love the A colour which I think is Superb Beige and can be bought separately for €6.90 for 24g. If not the Color Fever Eyeshadow Palette in Unexpected Rosy Taupe which is available to buy nowis a similar palette and has a similar shade included. It can also be used dry or wet and is priced at €13.90.
Glow Touch Lips and Cheeks – Fierce Spirit – Limited Edition
Glow Touch Lips and Cheeks does exactly what it says on the tin (literally). I bought this product in Venus Pinkfrom the Fierce Spirit range and it cost me €3.00! I’ve seen it compared to Stila which will cost you more than double. It smells fresh and has an air of vanilla bubblegum about it.
I like it as a lip stain but love it a blush. As a blush it gives that gorgeous healthy dewy look. Looking through the Kiko Milano Cosmetic website, I don’t see a dual purpose product like it. However they do have a Velvet Touch Creamy Stick Blush that has a good range of colours and costs €3.90. If I had to choose, I’d pick the Coral Rose or Hot Pink.
Crystal Sheer Glossy Lipstick
I bought the Crystal Sheer Glossy Lipstick in the colour 401, Latte, and I barely have enough left to scrape on tomorrow’s application! I love this lipstick and will be stocking up on this colour and trying out others soon. I love the feeling of the lipstick on my lips, the texture and the shine. I love the sleek packaging and I love the price which is €6.90, I paid €5.00 in Portugal.
Kiko say that the lipstick works on your lips in three different levels and I have to agree … here they are;
Moisturizing and plumping action*: K2 Re pulp stimulates the production Hyaluronic acid, helping to keep the moisture level of the lips ideal increasing their fullness.
Energizing and revitalizing action*: cellular vitality is reactivated giving your lips a strong healthy look.
Aging prevention*: thanks to its active ingredients, production of collagen and Sirtuin 1 (protein of youth) improved cellular longevity is stimulated for younger looking lips. (kikocosmetics.com)
Nail Lacquer
ThisNail Lacquer, like the Crystal Sheer Glossy Lipstick is available to buy now. I bought the colour 319 Light Dove and paid €2.90 because they charged me for a bottle of their Quick Dry Nail Lacquer instead! (just copped that now!) – you can buy it now online for €2.50.
This nail polish is a gorgeous colour. Although not the quick dry version, I found that it actually dried quickly. I really like the thickness, the way it paints and it lasted really well but I did use a base and top coat so that helps. With a huge selection of colours to choose from in lots of different shades, I’ll be shopping for this nail lacquer again.
